These 5x15cm (2x6inch) mirrors are excellent value. Over time we have improved their durability by adding an epoxy coating to protect the chrome backing. Please be careful when cutting or nipping mirror and the protective coating may be damaged leading to corrosion of the mirror effect. If the backing get chipped apply a thin layer of wood or pVa glue to prevent further deterioration. The colour of the glass is permanent and frost and UV resistant so as long as the mirror backing is protected there is no significant fading or change making these highly suitable for outdoor mosaic and in extreme weather.
